The Northern College of Therapeutic Hypnosis Ltd (NCTH) was established in July 1999 and was founded to meet the need for a private Hypnotherapy training college that sets the highest possible standards in education and ethics.

The focus of the college is to promote the safe use of Clinical Hypnosis, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), and Psychotherapy through its training courses.

They run a range of hypnotherapy courses which have utilised appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques and are tailored to meet the needs of a wide variety of audiences.


NCTH sought to fine tune and refine their core brand, develop a website and digital marketing strategy to promote their range of courses. Their value proposition is to promote safe use of Hypnotherapy in a range of industries.


NCTH wanted to attract more customers and offer more training courses to a diverse range of organisations. The original branding was professional but did not portray the company’s unique selling points, which are:-

  • Very professional
  • Very ethical
  • Fun and interactive learning
  • Non academic and definitely not ‘Talk & Chalk’

The branding design must be clear, concise, professional yet approachable and friendly and must incorporate these points and work across multiple media.


Our planned approach included the following phases

Phase 1: Brand & Identity- Design of new branding including concepts and applications on a variety of web and marketing materials

Phase 2 : Design and development of a new website

Phase 3 : Search Engine Optimisation including keyword and search phrase research, SEO, content advice

Phase 4:  Pay per Click Campaigns including set up, management and analysis of campaigns

Phase 5: Email marketing: development of email marketing campaigns

Phase 6: Social Media– setting up Facebook, Twitter and LinkdIn accounts

Ongoing activities include analysis, monitoring, management and reporting of the digital marketing strategy
